It’s Time to Shine a Light on Ogden
-
Light Up Our Streets and Sidewalks
Our city needs to be safer for Ogdenites. As your City Councilmember, I will turn on streetlights throughout our city so that Ogdenites can safely walk around at night. I will respond to resident concerns about the lack of crosswalks, bike lines, stop signs and traffic lights along high-traffic areas. I will prioritize sidewalk availability, so that our city is more accessible for all Ogden residents.

Shed Light on City Administration
Unelected City Administrators go unchecked by our elected representatives. The City Council, without their own attorney, has been unable to get the information city residents need about how and why policy changes are happening. As your City Councilmember, I will always fight for greater accountability and increased efficiency in city administration so that Ogdenites are informed and involved at all levels of our city’s government.

Put the Spotlight on Real Ogdenites, Not Big Developers
Our city leaders have raised taxes again and again to give handouts to out-of-city developers. From a paid parking mandate that will be used to fund developer pet projects to high airport subsidies that don’t benefit 99% of Ogdenites, it’s clear that the city government is using our tax dollars in ways that don’t serve us. As your City Councilmember, my focus will always be on improving services for Ogden residents and local small businesses – and I will oppose using our tax dollars to give handouts to Big Developers.
